Andrea Coakley, L.Ac. (Available Fridays from 3-7) graduated from the Acupuncture and Oriental Studies Program at the Swedish Institute’s College of Health Sciences in New York City in 2008. She studied Classical Chinese Medicine under the guidance of the renowned teacher, Jeffrey Yuen, an 88th generation Taoist Priest.
Brigitte Pohl, L.Ac., Dip.I.M.H. (Available Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturdays from 3-7) received her license as a Naturopathic Practitioner in Germany in 1996. After arriving in the U.S., she studied Acupuncture at Pacific College and later at Bridgeport University, where she received her masters diploma in 2003. Brigitte is a Diplomat of the Institute of Music and Health and a Reconnective Healing Foundational Practitioner.
Rachel Beth Dorfman, C.M.T, L.Ac. (Available Wednesdays from 4:30-9:30 and Fridays from 11-3) is a Connecticut native and Licensed Acupuncturist certified to practice Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She earned her masters diploma from Jung Tao School of Classical Chinese Medicine in Boone, North Carolina. Rachel is also a Certified Massage Therapist and Asian Bodywork practitioner. She had a thriving private practice in Atlanta, GA for twelve years and returned back to the area to be of service to her friends, family, and community in 2012.
Rachel is passionate about Chinese Medicine and educating people in proactive and preventative self-care and healthy living. She believes in the power of food as medicine and that our body’s ability to heal far surpasses what we allow ourselves to believe.
